It’s nice to see double digit sales still happening this week but new inventory trailed behind when you take a closer look at the stats. We only saw 23 new listings and 13 of them were re-lists. It was nice to see a handful of them come down in price for their next round on the market.
We’re also seeing a lower average days on market number. It’s too soon to tell if this is a trend that indicates a quickening market, check back in a few weeks to see how we’re doing
Weekly Market Snapshot for the Sunshine Coast, all property types: February 17, 2024 – February 24, 2024
Sold: 14
New Listings: 23
Price Reductions: 12
Av. Days on Market: 61
The data is spread quite even in all areas. Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, Halfmoon Bay and recreational areas all saw sales, listings and price reductions. I sold my listing in Sechelt this week. It was a perfect home for first time buyers, level entry living or a renovation project on the Sunshine Coast BC.
